Note: Operation Firefox is a project I’ve been working on with Mozilla over the past couple months. It has carried over from my summer internship. This post is a copy of what I wrote on the Mozilla Blog.

Are you ready to infiltrate society and spread Firefox one sticker at a time? Operation Firefox is currently recruiting agents to place huge 3.5’ Firefox stickers where the world will see them. In addition to worldwide notoriety, you might wind up with a new MacBook Pro or a Nintendo Wii.
Operation Firefox began last summer as a project initiated by the Mozilla Marketing interns. We had seen what the Mozilla community produced before, including the New York Times ad, the Firefox crop circle, and the Firefox Flicks contest, and decided to step up to the challenge and create another opportunity for Mozilla fans to show off their creativity.
This newest campaign puts 3.5 foot Firefox stickers in the hands of our community and looks for creative new ways to share Firefox with the world. Ultimately, our goal is to get 50 great photos of the Firefox logo in situations that promote some of the defining characteristics of the Web browser–performance, security, customization, and community.
The contest is two-tiered: first, we’re putting out a call for the 50 best “placements” for these stickers (due November 9th). Then, the most creative agents will receive a fathead sticker to complete their mission: take a photograph and submit before December 3rd. All 50 photos will be displayed on the Operation Firefox website, but the four best ones will receive a new MacBook Pro or Nintendo Wii.
Do you think you have what it takes to be an Operation Firefox agent? To learn more about the contest and how to participate, visit www.operationfirefox.com.

Mozilla ended a great week by preparing a delicious dinner including spring rolls, crab cakes, sushi, hand-made tacos, pecan pie, and much more. Thank you to everyone who made this week so successful–from going to eat at the Old Pro to playing human-size foosball to the wii tournament to tonight’s cooking adventures, the week was incredible! Check out some more pictures by clicking the image below.

On Thursday, Mozilla went to AT&T Park in San Francisco to watch the Giants play some baseball. Starting with a tailgate directly outside the ballpark, the day stayed warm and sunny throughout–a feat that San Francisco cannot always claim. Although the Giants didn’t win and Barry didn’t get number 758, it wasn’t only the game that brought everybody to AT&T Park. It was just the whole atmosphere of the stadium, friends, hot dogs, and drinks that made the day what it was. To see more pics, click the image below.

What a day! From interns cooking, interns serving full-timers, Fligtar taking orders on his iPhone, to everyone enjoying burgers, hot dogs, corn, cookies, chips, and more, MoCo came together at the interns’ apartments in Mountain View.

Rhian Baker, one of the many full-timers who came and enjoyed this event, reported, “This is one of the best parties I’ve been to in a while!” Other full-timers may have felt differently, especially the select few who were honored by being thrown into the pool. Although, what those full-timers need to realize is that being thrown into the pool is really only a sign of great respect. Such adventures are well documented in the pictures, which can be found by clicking the image above.

Mozilla’s suite in the Augustus Tower at Caesar’s Palace was the place to be last Wednesday night. Many Black Hat conference-goers showed up at Mozilla’s Pajama Party looking for a place to relax and enjoy fun conversation with each other. Who knew so many people would be looking for some milk, cookies, and hot chocolate one late night in Las Vegas? Click on the image below for more pictures.

After a productive week of work at Mozilla, the interns decided to change up the pace on Friday night. As it was the end of our first week, Rishi and I had the others over for some intern-bonding time. The Mozilla Interns Summer Kick-off (Part II) was a success.
